First photos I took with an actual camera (not iPhone) and first time I got to clean it up well (not polished, just a good wash here)

Sweet car. My buddy had one just like that, but sold it a year or so ago. It was tuned by Turner Motorsports and sounded amazing! Beautiful cars.

Nice!!!!

I was looking at a 97 M3 in the same color, with motorsport rims...You don't see many cars in yellow...I like!!!!

Very nice! I'll always remember the name for that color, Mugello Yellow. I detailed one of those a few months back. Really an awesome all around car. I see you have the xenon projectors in there nice addition.

Thanks! Someone misinformed you though because the color is Dakar Yellow. Oh and yea I finally pulled the trigger on some headlights... they're DJ Auto lights with 55w 6000K HIDs from DDM Tuning.

how hard was the re-wire. was thinking about getting some hid's when i had my e36. but it's a moot point now. but was just wondering.

Wiring takes 10 minutes... well I actually used a harness so the power comes from the battery through a relay so stock wiring doesn't get messed up (there's potential for it but rarely happens to people)... however the headlights are plug'n'play so wiring can be a 1 min job as well if you don't use the harness.. just plug in the highs and lows and the ballast and you're done.

Thanks. Guess I shudda done it, but was told I had to re-wire car. Oh well.

The E36 M3 is a great ride, Im nto a fan of yellow cars but the E36 M sure looks good in yellow. When I worked at the dealer in NJ one of my greatest customers had the yellow M.

Looks really nice with the contrasting black.

I too almost pulled the trigger on my C2S in Speed Yellow, but went back to black to offset the PCCB's and yellow seatbelts on a black finish.

You have to admit, a Porsche in black just looks nice and a bit intimidating as well.

After seeing the GT3-RS done in the orange and green colors I should have waited. Those are strong colors, but fit the machine.

I do not see too many M3's in your color at all and wish more people did that color. Most are like Porsche owners with no sole.... silver blue...etc
BORING!

Keep her clean (the car that is)

Yea the visibility is 50 billion gazillion times better over the stock POS lights they installed...

I'm not a fan of yellow either on other cars, but E36 M3 like mine, any Porsche pretty much and probably the Audi S4s pull it off well (M3 the best of course :D)

O gawd, such a pretty car.

I Love It

(E46 FTW)

Someone ban this guy please... everyone knows BMW ran out of ideas after 99-02. E46 wasn't bad for a fat pig haha... Hard to beat perfection, as Bangle has proven over the years.

the yellow e 36 m was one of a kind.

Yea there's only one other in Chicago that I know of... I've seen a 95 rolling around 4-5 years back but haven't since.

Yea I have a few more things to do like paint kidneys in front to be black, but she's moving along nicely. Porsches look good in any color but black is definitely getting boring (plus it's a B*TCH to keep clean, especially the flat black Porsche paint!)
