Black Vinyl Decal ??

I was out cleaning my wife's Daytona Charger this evening and I noticed a tiny bit of tree sap had gotten on her hood. For those that don't know, the Daytona's have that flat black "Hemi" decal on the hood and I noticed that some of the sap had got on it too. Does anyone know a way to get that off without ruining the decal or turning it greyish/white?? I know I can use alcohol on the paint but wasn't sure if it would be safe on the decal.

Holy fast response!! I tried the washing part LOL...I may have to give Spray & Wipe a shot. I got the majority off when I washed it this evening but there is still an outline that won't just rub off.

then Bug Squash ..if washing didn't do it ...you might also try a towel soaked in hot water ;)
