I bought a GPS device (thanks for those who chimed in on that). Now, I would like some advice on batteries. I am looking to buy a few rechargeable batteries to keep in my pack or on take on the boat to make sure I can keep the thing powered. Anyone have any suggestions on what type and/or brand of batteries I should look into?

Along with the rechargeables, keep a set of Duracell or Procell in the bag, just in case.

When I had my bass boat, I installed a cigarette lighter receptacle, so that I could plug in the DC power plug for my GPS.

I am thinking about doing something like that as well as putting in a stereo.
