PB product questions...

Just got a 2002 Jeep Grand Larado. Burgundy metallic Paint was pretty rough so I washed, clayed, SSR2.5 (one pass) SSR1 (one pass), used some black hole on the hood (sides looked fine) and got so happy that I went to the Nattys before I used the EX. Now to my regret I want to go back and put some EX on the paint, but is it too late? Should I wait a week or two, then put on the EX and finish with the Nattys? I'm just so happy of how it turned out, but want extra depth of the Ex... Opinions of the experienced appreciated.
Next question. Was detailing on a warm day (low 80's)so product was drying pretty quick (using poorboys, so no problem getting off paint) BUT my pad was dusting pretty bad. How do I keep it from slinging dust and putting specks on everything in it's path? Thanks.... I have several more questions, but will post again... :bigups

you will need to remove the Natty's before the EX will bond... a quick pass with SSR1 or PwS will do the trick. In hot weather you may need to use a little more product and also keep the pads clean with a nylon brush ... you can also use towels to cover the cowl area so the dust doesn't settle where you can't reach

You can also try some pad conditioner from Autogeek. They actually have a special going now. Which figures considering i just purchased some last week.

You can get this one from Troy, The Edge Foam Pad Conditioning Brush.

I also like the XMT pad conditioning spray and cleaner. It doesn't look like Troy ells it, but you can sure get it at Autogeek.

I use a soft nylon interior brush

I don't see the need for an additional product "pad conditioning spray". If you want to pre-moisten your pad, distilled water or even PB's Spray & Wipe has always done the job for me.
