The Whaler Loves Detail City
my father-in-law had his car done for either 20 or 25 dollars. The neighborhood PepBoy's had a carshow this past weekend. While there he had his car washed, waxed, tires and wheels cleaned and treated, windows cleaned inside and out,the interior completely cleaned.I have not seen the car since he's had it done but he's happy with it.:passout:

:lol2::rofl was it the girl scouts or boy scouts :yikes:

I was told it was a guy walking around the lot trying to drum up business. He was getting his water from PepBoy's.:passout:

I'm sure that job was OK and he is happy with the results for what he paid....some times people need money and this was his way...better than sitting on his back end asking for a hand out!

I had a guy come by my house last week...with a lawn air-rator machine...he was pushing it up the street stopping at every house that had a lawn...He asked about doing my lawn for 10 bucks...the neighbor had just had his done by some landscaper, for 80...I let him do mine and tipped him 5 bucks.

People can fall on hard times and those that are willing to get out and work for the money, I can only admire!

Every Tuesday here is the Hooters car wash. I drove by yesterday on my way to lunch and was tempted. :dnaughty

Did he finish each car in 5 to 10 minutes?:D

$10! Thats it, great deal, you can't even rent a machine to do that for usually less then $60. Did it pull plugs out?

Yes...it was the strangest thing...the guy had the machine running and was walking up the street with it...stopping at each house and asking for biz...I had to admire him for it...so I let him do it...pulled those little plugs out very well

nice...always good to air-rate the lawn.

Wonder what the guy would have done for you had he hit your sprinkler system while taking care of the lawn? At $10 he certainly couldn't afford repairs.
