Hey all. There's a problem I run into ever once in awhile. I had one today in fact. It's dirt stains and water stains on sport cloth seats. The normal way I do these is along the lines of how my supplier suggests: Spray with a spot remover (I am using ps21 TAW these day, let it soak a little while, then water down and attempt to spread out from the middle of the seat out, scrub or brush and soak up. Repeat enough times until both the stains and the water lines are gone.

The problem is that it's time consuming and I'm not always happy with the results. I'm looking at getting a Shark Steam Blaster. The question is will a steamer be the answer?

How are you removing the water and detergent? Steam might help but I think an extractor will probably help more in this case.

if you get the seat to wet, it will soak into the foam under the seat and might continue to look like a stain from the excessive wet spot. Try this, it works for me.
I have a couple of lambs wool wash type mitts. Take a wet/damp mitt with some soap and water and scrub that surface. The stain will come out and it wont be overly soaked. Works good on carpets to.

...and it can be finished in like 2.3 seconds:rockon

"the little green machine" is a decent buy if ya wanna not spend to much. It's a hot water extractor for 80 bucks. I own one.
All that copyright stuff is from an online ad i did - i'll share the pics with you. works pretty good for a little thing.
