Being 1) a graphic designer and 2) a total car freak...I've wanted a tattoo for years now and never knew just what I wanted.
A couple years back I decided I was doin' it so I set out sketching...for hours, then days, I sketched and sketched. I wanted something unique...something that was 'me' and something that portrayed my love for cars, flames, tribal stuff...so this design encompasses my passions in life...
I planned to get it at Hart & Huntington back in 2005 when I attended the SEMA show. They were too busy that weekend so I decided I'd get it when I got back here to St. Louis. Then, as with most things, time slipped by and I kept putting it off.
Now, I've got a co-worker who is a licensed tattoo artist so he is going to do it for me within the next month. I recently got a promotion at work and just decided it was time to do it!
Anyway...do you guys like it??
I can't wait to get it! Although depending on how painful it is, I'm afraid I'll be addicted and want more!:rockon

Hail the power of Quattro
Well, I started another one yesterday...again. This will be my last one for a while, because I'll have to find a new artist. I got orders to go to New Jersey and I've built one hell of a relationship with the guy here in Arkansas, so it might take a while. The pictures aren't the best, but I'll get some better ones up once it heals. The text across the top reads "Tomorrow never comes" and my next session is scheduled for May 4th. I can't wait to finish it up. Let me know what you think. And for anyone who's counting, this is #10.

I guess I never posted my final tat on here...
This is my first which I completely designed myself. I wanted it to represent me and the things I love in life...cars and car culture.
I'm still trying to decide on tat #2. I think I want a thin band of flames around my wrist, but it's got to be thin enough I can hide with my watch since I work a 'corporate' job during the weekdays.
