prayers and well wishes helped very much! Had my left/cancerous kidney reoved on thursday April 10. (got lost in te hosital trying to get to the surgery area). Got into surgery just before 11am out of operating a little after 12. About 30 minutes earlier than expected. I woke up just before 3 in recovery. hospitals are a very busy place. I was joking with the nurses in there once i did woke up. Was sent up to te room once they ad a room available. 26 roos in kidney specialist floor. Had epideral for pain, it was reoved yesterday around 9am, no pain meds until I took one on the way home this morning 75 miles. Incision 4 inches above the belly button and 15" long, they glued e together withstrips and tape over it. I had planned to be there till tommorrrow, 5 days. It was so boring in there once I could get out of bed. I just had to harrass my nurses and aids. I walked the halls all tie of the day and night, couldnt sleep. walk 3-4 laps go to bed get up, and do it all over again. I was BORED!!!! But Im home NOW, no wifi in the roo so I couldnt use this when I tried thursday. Well better go read the forums.RANDAL ome recovering in windy, muddy IOWA:dcrules
