So I made a real big mistake and left my blue Edge 2k blue pad outside on our deck. It rained, and it has gotten a bit dirty...what is the BEST way to clean this up to at least better than it is now...I don't think that there is any product in it, but it just looks really dirty, as in dirt maybe??...I've searched, and haven't found a definitive cleaning method for the Edge pads, only on the various other pads like the LCs, etc. Any and all suggestions would b greatly appreciated.

I would start with a good warm water soak in dish soap....then using running water rinse and knead the foam as to work out the dirt and soap...then I press it gently sandwiched in a cotton towel and lastly spin it on high on my machine to get all the water out...if its sunny out I put them on a towel in the sun and flip once to get both sides
Thanks for the suggestion. Would a dish soap like Dawn be enough? No detrimental effects right?

no it will have no effects on the foam...I use this one all the time on mine....I do find them hard to get all the water out of...so spinning the heck out of them helps

I use Snappy Pad cleaner and soak them in my Wolfgang washbucket.

I use hot water with APC in my kitchen sink. I rinse them out well and place the foam side out in the washing machine and run it for a spin cycle. Then I let them air dry. It works like a champ.

Scott these are the Edge 2000 pads that he is asking about and they have the plastic middle thing...I'm not sure about using those in a washer on spin...sounds like a good idea thought
The main reason I started this thread was b/c I read in other threads that it was recommended you DO NOT put the Edge pads in the washing machine.
I've got my pad soaking in a bucket of soap water right now...we'll see how well you guys' methods work.

I totally agree with this, that might compromise the plastic in the center....I do my other pads in the washer they come out great!

That was funny.....when I wrote it I couldn't think of a way to describe my 5 gallon wash bucket (like that) so the only thing I could think of was wolfgang....so in answer yes...yes it does.
