You guys sure make me glad I don`t watch those videos 
At the risk of sounding cynical, I assume that pretty much everything any vendor/manufacturer...and even most supposedly impartial users...ever says/"demonstrates" (scare-quotes intentional) is a ploy to get my $ somehow, some way...even if it`s just tracking what I look at online.
When it comes to Detailing stuff, about the only opinions I pay any attention to are those of the fellow Autopians whom I consider reliable. And even then, I`m careful about what people say regarding their personal faves..."YMMV" and all that, every. single. time.
