Did I mess up the roof trim?

I was getting dried sealant that was stuck to the black roof trim with a wooden skewer.
Sometimes wrapped in a microfiber towel other times with the point, depending upon where the white sealant was.
There were tree debris too, bits of leaves, dirt, and round seeds that look like BBs.

I now have three areas with the trim pushed deeper in the recess.
I tried digging it out with the skewer, only to push more in.
The one spot on the right side straightened out by itself.
No luck with the three on the left side.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
Until it is fixed, is water going to get inside?
Here are photos.

Thanks,
Suzanna

Careful with the skewers, even though they are wood you don't want to take a chance marring the paint

I just went out and checked my wife's car (an 05 Sonata) and it's a bit difficult to tell in the dark, but you may just have to gently work it out. I should be able to give you a better answer tomorrow when I have some light.

But I don't think that it will let any water in.

maybe something thin like a credit card slide the card behind the trim and pull the trim up as you slide the card along..

yep i have t tops on my car and while tring to get wax buildup from the t top/window trim it got pushed in and i took an old credit card and slide it starting from the front edge and went to the back working it up very gently
