TW tire coating

I know some others on here along with myself, really miss the TW black endura-shine tire coating. I was reading about the TW endura-shine trim coating. The information on the label and reviews. All indicated that this was the same thing as the tire coating. I bought a kit. The only thing that was different than how I remembered the tire coat. Was there`s no tire cleaner. The applicator was different and sucks. The coating itself was the same look, consistency, color, smell, as the tire coating was. It applied just as always. The look and feel after applying was just like the TW tire coating. No other tire coating that I liked more than the TW.

Now I did try this on a piece of black plastic trim under the car. This was horrible as a trim coating. Thank goodness I tried it on a piece that is hidden, and won`t last that long on. It streaked bad no matter how I tried to work it.

This was two coats. One coat is mare satin looking. On the camaro I like the little more gloss.

Thanks for the info on this product..

Do you think it streaked on that trim because the trim was not sufficiently clean ?

Always a possibility. I don`t think so though. I used PP vehicle & boat wash, degreaser, a tar remover. Then add the undercarriage gets a through cleaning every year at some point, and never gets driven in the rain.

Thinking about it it while writing. I think maybe because it`s a smooth plastic, & not the textured plastic.

The TW trim coating was awesome on the textured trim that I put it on, works much better on this than any smooth plastic trim. It had a permanent darkening effect, I`m going on years of sustained durability but it certainly has limitations once the trim has faded to a certain point. Durability was well beyond Wolfgang Exterior Trim and Blackfire trim sealants. But it was also a little more glossier than I would have liked, and it`s better to work in layers because it`s hard to level out cleanly on the first application. The Wolfgang trim sealant gave a much more even coverage on the first coat and wasn`t overly glossy looking. Overall, the Endura-Shine coatings were great options on certain tires and trim pieces, not perfect and a bit finnicky to work with but definitely durable options.

I have them both I stocked up a the tire coating it is different much higher gloss level. Unfortunately I only have 1 and a half bottles left renew protect Black is very close to this
