Hang in there ronkh !

spoke briefly with ron and he sounds ok. still waiting for doctors to communicate with each other and will be looking at another series of radiation.

Sorry guys - I guess the timing of my post made it appear I was talking to Ron privately or had more info to go on. Other than the updates by Gearhead, Tropic Steve, etc. (Huge thanks to you guys!!) I am in the dark as much as ya`ll. Still praying that Ron is getting better and future follow-up appointments show things moving in a good direction.

My job takes me offshore for weeks at a time - typically pretty poor internet which makes it tough to keep up to date.

thanks for the info..offshore, can you elaborate?

Well the story is...…….
I need some radiation (normal since it`s mets lung cancer which was thought.)
More tomorrow

Just got off work and now going to pool to help my back....Ron I`m sending more prayers to you me friend.

heard from ron today. he finished his last series of radiation tx yesterday and started tapering off the steroids today. hopefully the transition will go smoothly for him. he`ll be moving soon to the venice area off I75 and i hope to be catching up with him then.
as usual, your prayers for ron are welcome.B)

got to meet up with ron late this afternoon to make a drop off and pick up of some stuff. ron did make the move to his new place, but still needs to move some more items from the old place.
ron looks pretty good, but still fighting a lot of exhaustion, and less hair from the radiation. he is do to see the oncologist soon, and the usual pet scans, etc. hopefully he will be getting some more good news.
it`s hard to believe, but ron is coming up on his two year mark with his struggle with cancer and i am so thankful for everyone`s response of prayers and well wishes, i think the results have been dramatic. it was shocking when i first heard ron was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer (usually an automatic death sentence) and even more shocking when not too long ago, ron showed me an xray of a good sized tumor in the middle of his brain. ron is such a good guy, his faith and everyone`s prayers and support have helped him to keep moving forward one day at a time. thanks again to everyone and God`s providence. :)
