Cool. Thank you. Here`s wishing success.

I`ll try to post some pics when I have the time. Test subject is an old truck with one spot polished with 04-06 and topped with PA HG approx 6 weeks ago. Exhibits hydrophobic properties still ( outside but not much sun ). Rest of hood is bare without protection. Washed with Gold Class. Sprayed 2 spritz`s on the microfiber that came with CanCoat. The unprotected area shed no water prior to. Area that had the PA wiped easily and without streaks. I went up to the un-protected area and wiped. Water dried easily and did not smear or streak. That was all I did ( had to go ride-yep had to! ) Tonight I will rinse with water to see if anything at all was left behind.
Now I don`t think this will be my process in any way shape or form in the future-but looks like it can be done. At least in small sections. Don`t know how long a microfiber would hold up before becoming useless though

Thank you

I spoke with gyeon recently to confirm it scientifically wouldn`t work.
I`d be interested to see the water behavior of your test section post application.

Well rushed home to give it a go. I will not attest to any protection levels at all. I will say that water is shedding off the previous un-protected area. I still will not add this to my routine, however Doctor Shine-aka Ron can :).There ya you go my friend-you have an answer

Thank you SIR !

Any time Ron!!! The pre treated area was a 12 x 12 up the hood. The rest was wiped dry with the treated micro. This was just after I rinsed with water. That fogginess is from the heat and humidity. It`s pretty clear black. You can see the lack of protection on the rest of the hood. I`ll rinse once a week to see how long that lasts
