Hello everyone!! It`s been a good decade since I`ve posted, any old members from the late 90`s early 2000`s around? Brad B, Poorboy? Looks like all my old posts are long gone.:mellow: Place sure looks different! I was around when all the posts descended into the abyss.
 
Welcome back André! Of the names you mentioned, Poorboy still is a contributor...

This is a nice and civil forum where all members treat each other with respect. We’ll look forward to you contributing!
 
Andre- Welcome back! I date to pre-autumn 2000 as I was posting from the previous house, but perhaps I didn`t make any real impression (heh heh, maybe a good thing :o ).

Brad hasn`t posted here in ages...definitely miss him.

Still a great place as you remember.. Just a lot of new/newer faces..

since we are bringing up older members what ever happend to asphaltrocket (dana). I meet him when i still lived in Virginia now looking back he reminded me of a real like Kenny Powers, very funny dude.

Andre`- Hey, that`s pretty good, remembering my username, I wasn`t posting as much back then.

Setec Astronomy- Ah, glad Brad`s still at it. Heh heh, *you* were MIA here for a good long time too (glad you`re back).
 
Accumulator is the constant on these forums, probably the anchor for Autopia !
Is it me or is Autopia no longer hip with younger detailers these days, if so where are these hipsters hanging out ? Back in the days we had young whipper snippers like ScubaSteve who would post pics of his details daily, I would even send him tins of products to try out and write up a review.

I think most of them are trying to make a name for themselves through $ocial media like Luke Wilson !

What a ride through the detailing products you members that joined early on the forum must have had. It has revolved quite a bit from methods to products over the years. And alot of wisdom and experience gathered too. And it`s impresive that the forum has been holding up in the matter of respectfull and kindness. That is a big problem on social media like Facebook. It`s a great tone in discussions and the helpfullness is awesome.

A big thanks to all of members that has hold up a great forum to be on!

I returned today after a few years away. I joined back in 2002 and posted everyday because this was the place to be but I left because of life, work 60 hrs a week, take care of responsibilities but still enjoyed detailing my cars, boat, motorcycle but didn`t have time to post on here. Came back to see whats new and noticed that all of my posts have been deleted...lol Things sure changed while I was gone.
Does Scottwax still post here?

Um, yeah, you missed a few changes. Perhaps it`s more understandable how your posts got lost when you realize that since...2010? The forum has been sold twice, and has had 3 other detailing forums merged into it.
