Random thoughts thread

I honestly dont know. I presumed it was wherever the TX mile takes place. It was definitely an airstrip. It was a 1320 video I randomly found on fb entitled 1100 hp sequential evo goes 190 or something like that

I wanted an evo so badly when they came out in the early 2000s, but I found torque instead :)

yeah the Texas mile takes place in Beeville. It`s an awesome event to go to, even if just as a spectator.

I looked up the Texas mile event to see when they were having it this year. Apparently in 2017 they moved the event from Beeville to Victoria Texas .

I went to Beeville and Victoria many times when we were little kids..
My Grandpa and Grandma set up Spanish speaking Methodist Churches in those little towns back then, along with hundreds more over their lifetimes... The churches are still going strong..

We all need to meet and go see or run that unlimited mile thing just to see what it feels like to fly - without the guilt trip - :) :)
But we need to find someone with a new Acura NSX, heck even a lowly Ferrari.. :)

Been turmoil on CNN all week, though the liberal media seems to be enjoying it. Country is in rough shape and it doesn’t seem like the Dems or the gop have an idea how to fix it.

A couple of decent weather days, and then wake up to this crap.

It amazes me how many rabbits there are here. Rabbits were always abundant where I grew up, but nothing like here. You can see rabbits running around all day long.

I don`t know if a cat, even the size of a Main Coon, would take on a full grown wild rabbit. If they are like the wild rabbits in my area, the only predators willing to go after rabbits are the hawks, owls, a very hungry fox, and coyotes. They can be nasty when cornered and can get pretty large. Those front teeth and hind leg toe nails are dangerous.

Cue Monty Python scene....

I`ve had cats that have left rabbits at the door as gifts more than once, and more than one different cat. They`re good at getting away. They change direction much faster than the cat.

Desertnate, hope you had a good Birthday yesterday.

It says Happy April Fools Day at the bottom of the article ! :)

This would NEVER FLY anyway !!!!
Way too many turbocharged vehicles to begin with - mind boggling amount of legislation to even come up with a way to deal with all those people and their vehicles, etc..
And since its been a few years now of almost all OEMS selling turbo cars from their factories.... Yeah, let`s ban those too !!! :)
Hilarious !

Lol, you got me. The fact that they do make regulations for everything in California, is what makes it believable.
Sadly, no one would even think that a posibility except for the fact that it said California. Then it hits you like... well they could do this. ;) Sorry Dan, I know that’s home base these days.

Meanwhile I`m over here on my knees every night praying Suzuki adds a turbo to their redesigned Hayabusa in 2019.

Ugliest .... Motorcycle .... Ever

But seriously, Ron`s right (even a broken clock is right twice a day) about the `Busa. Dang thing will snap your neck off. I found it to be unwieldy and heavy and just too eager to kill me. Thing is, VERY FEW human beings can take advantage of that much power in a motorcycle, except maybe in a straight line. And that`s fine, if that`s what you`re into. I mean, who doesn`t love a blueprinted and blown Chevy SS? But I ain`t taking it to the mountains! Same with the `Busa.

Around here, there`s a click of people that put extended swingarms on their Hayabusas, making a hard-to-steer motorcycle even harder. Silly to me. NOT THAT YOU ARE "THAT GUY" RAY.
