Has anyone had any luck selling detailing stuff on Craigslist?

Heh heh, watch out for Craig`s List Killers (which we`ve had in Ohio).

I`d really like to sell some of my stuff too, and didn`t get much traction on eBay...might just resort to trading it here for something I`ll buy anyhow; a buyer could just go purchase what I want and trade it to me for my For Sale stuff. But yeah, enough of a hassle that I`ve never done it and "stuff to trade for a Rupes" might be a bit much.

I`ve got it listed on a car forum and Craigslist, although I`m not too optimistic it`ll gain any interest even though I feel I priced it fairly, especially since it`s still like new. If that fails then I`ll try eBay.

What I learned from listening to NPR for about an hour at a business I was working at this morning:

Virtually every health and behavior problem in the non white population in America is traced back to racism. Apparently it`s a uniquely American problem too since they claim black and brown immigrants problems get worse when they come here. Oh, and Asian people don`t count in all this since they`re wildly successful and healthy, so nobody gives a crap about them

This year I put my foot down on pricing and it feels more like foot in mouth with two paid details so far all year long. Very discouraging but I know I need to advertise and seek new clients.

Well, it`s only the end of March, so you have 9 more months !

Did you find the nicest Independent Shop that repairs really nice cars - like German cars - and go sell yourself to them ?

Or go to the nicest, usually gated community, find their Clubhouse, or Yacht Club House, etc., and see if you can buy some Ad space in their monthly letter to the homeowners ?
Or at the least, leave a bunch of your business cards there and sweet talk the lady into making sure they get out ? :)

Eventually all those people you did work for will need it again and they will be by...

Yes, it will take some form or a few forms of advertising now.. Good luck, Brandt, you can do this..

I told my 16 year old son, I`d like to wash the Buick, but it`s snowing. He said " you think the car is dirty even when it`s clean". Obviously he thinks I`m obsessed with cleaning the cars.

This was in the parking lot at work today. I would be livid.
