Give her da one finger salute for me.
Personally I don`t like Austin. I definitely don`t miss working there.

In order to make it to DF, I will have to refrain from soluting her tho.

“I’ve never looked outside for other people to tell me when I should be making a move, and wouldn’t I know?” she told CBS’ Ann Silvio Winfrey If God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kind of tell me? I haven’t heard that.”

Ronkh- For some reason I can`t make sense of that last one...besides the "deity talking to somebody"...aspect I mean (heh heh, regulars here can probably guess my reaction to that).

Did Oprah Winfrey say something about "never looking outside [of herself?] for behavioral info...she who once flew Dr. Phil across the country to ask him why she`s fat?

This year Seattle will spend millions of tax dollars to provide legal heroin lounges and will tax hard working Americans millions of dollars in taxes for buying sodas and Gatorade

Do the lounges have only Nirvana playing?

I wonder what the net bottom line cost diff will be if they provide those Heroin Lounges as opposed to the $ spent on letting addicts just fend for their lonesome.

[Before flaming or otherwise knee-jerking, please consider that Accumulator is in the "play stupid games; win stupid prizes" camp even when that kills his friends, and that he firmly believes that all substance (ab)use should be nobody`s business except the (ab)user`s, period. ]

I also wonder how many here are fully on-board with the "taxation should never be used to influence the behavior, let alone the *legal* behavior of the taxpayers".

Let them do what they want, as long as it doesn`t infringe on anyone else, either having to see it, clean it up, or pay for it.

(I strongly suspect that you know where I stand on this stuff ;) )

That "clean it up" gets problematic when the subjects sometimes die...one of the big downsides of those Stupid Prizes. But I`m of the opinion that complete legalization would diminish the fatalities to near-zip in short order.

And/but...Oh man, heh heh, gee what a world we`d live in if we didn`t have to see everything that *I* don`t want to see!

Starbucks...another place I`ll never set foot into again.

IIRC Starbucks categorically doesn`t want firearms on-premises..that bugs me almost as much as the actual deal-breaker, the [individual] at the counter trying way too hard, for way too long, to engage me in pointless conversation when I just wanted to buy my bags of coffee (I was patient, I remained perfectly polite, but sigh.. he appeared to get all, uhm..hurt...anyhow  ).
