Hydrosilex Recharge

I was planning on ordering a bottle to try. But emails to the manufacturer and DD concerning the MSDS go unanswered. Not going to spend $40 until I find out what is inside the bottle.

Maybe find out who the blender is and email them. ;)

If neither will send the MSDS then there must be a reason for it. I didn`t need to buy it anyhow:)

Did you look at Phil Yiu`s website ? I sent you name of it..

He seems to really like it and was the first one to get it and use it.

Perhaps you could email him and ask him the MSDS questions and see if he knows the answer..
Good luck !

I did email him yesterday. Will try again.

Thanks for the link...what the heck, for $10 I`ll give it a try.

Seems as if the last few months have seen what used to be coating maintenance products (Reload, c2v3 and such) morph into stand alone products, marketing-wise.

The reason the Detailer has to charge so much is because the Coating people have jacked up their rates for the Professional versions across the board..

I dunno about all coating mfgs but once part of the club (Certified Installer) the price drops significantly I think; sometimes monthly minimum order thresholds must be met although.

I ordered some over the weekend. Ohio winter will show me the real deal on it as far as durability and self-cleaning.

Hell for 10 bucks I`m in, just ordered some. So I`m guessing this is comparable to hydro2/hydro-blue/wet coat but can also be applied to dry paint unlike the others? Just used up the last of my bottle of wet coat so I`ll see how this one compares.

Got my bottle yesterday. I did a RW and then applied using the dry method. I did the headlights, half the windshield, the rest of the glass, and the side mirrors. For a test, I did half of one of the doors since the paint has Gloss Coat on it. Very easy to use and wipe off, and feels very slick. Its supposed to rain Saturday so we`ll see how it performs.

I ordered my sample on Tuesday. It still hasn’t shipped. I got an email saying they were waiting on 16oz bottles to arrive in a couple days

Used it again today on my father-in-laws hood. Dry application. Easy on and off. Slick feeling. Going to rain this weekend and will wait for updates from him, as the vehicle stays outside all the time.
