So this awesome 67 Corvette is a car I have been looking forward to working on. A while back Mike Phillips had posted up asking for a detailer in Massachusetts. I posted up my information not knowing what type of vehicle the client needed work on. About a week or so later I hear this big block Corvette come idling down my street and pulls into my driveway. I go outside and introduce myself. Turns out he was the gentlemen asking Mike for a detailer and he is less than 30 minutes from me. We scheduled the car for yesterday as he was one of 50 1967 Corvettes chosen to be on display at Corvettes at Carisle coming up and he wanted it took look "Presentable" being that he will be parked next to a bunch of high dollar trailer queens. Upon speaking with him he made it clear he wanted to use a wax on the finish and not a coating or sealant. I kindly obliged and Pinnacle Sovereign was chosen for a nice warm glow after the correction process.

I want to say a big thank you to Mike Phillips and the rest of the forum who have recommended me for work! Means a ton to me!
Onto the car!
Here are some before shots of the paint. Upon my initial inspection I could see some scallop marks and swirls etc. But I knew just by looking at it that this red pigment was just waiting to been shown off and those nasty defects were hiding it!
Products and tools used.
Boss G21, Adams Swirl Killer Mini, Rupes Blue Compound, M205, Boss Microfiber cutting pads, Megs 3in microfiber cutting pads, Rupes yellow/white pads
LSP
Pinnacle Sovereign Paste Wax
After correction
All finished
