Drying towels...need advice.

I haven`t noticed any major linting. But then I`m generally doing something after the wash besides just drying

I find myself really liking the small big blue towels for when I use spray as a drying aid after a 2bm or RW (specifically on my black SRT). I have two medium sized ones as well and they are just hard to work with for the most part..I couldn`t imagine having the largest one

Lint from Drying Towels drived me nuts and some of mine only get used for areas that don`t show because of it.

I too have switched from WWMFs (now only used for a quick first-step drying of glass) to Plush Drying Towels.

I`m using the Dry Me Crazy from MF Madness with complete satisfaction. I prefer the 16"x16" over the larger ones. Still working fine despite, uhm...questionable treatment in that I use Drying Aids that might cause issues (e.g., OCW) and often let `em sit for ages before finally laundering them.

I do think about the PFMs, but when I read that they "don`t feel all that soft" it kinda gives me pause.

that exact thought caused me to buy the big blue towels when they came out

I guess I`m always looking for an excuse or rationalization to buy something else and give it a shot

Now I find myself looking up the Dry Me Crazy and Pluffle to try them out soon

I`ve been using PFM for a while now. No worries about softness. No towel induced marring

Thanks for that Bill. I`m gonna run out of excuses, but I hope it doesn`t happen until I`ve worn out my DMCs :D

I do think the GG PFM for glass might be perfect for the daily dog-slobber work, those are on my radar too.

-I like to use waffle weaves for glass.

-The PFM towels are fast and hold a ton of water and I would buy another in a heartbeat.

-I need to test out the big blue towels again (I have only used them once), what I like about them is they glide smooth across the surface of the paint, but they seem to need to get damp before they really start to pick up water.

-The pluffle towels are nice and light to work with. Although even with the sheeting method prior to using them I feel like I need a couple for the whole car.
