What did you do detailing wise today?

This weekend lord willing with good weather I will be testing these two products. My truck is ready. Just have to give another bath to get the pollen off.

Let me know what you think of this. I`ve been looking at getting some

Well I polished out 2 more of our Mack truck cabs, did one monday Tuesday and did one today polsihed out the hood and cab side but I had to rush it a bit and only got to use M07 on the roof didnt have time to follow it up with polish, truck needs to go out tomorrow. Thats 3rd truck in 7 days, I can say using my new G21 has made the work a lot easier and faster and more enjoyable meaning I am way more willing to do it. Also got to play with a few different polishes I have gathered up. All impressions are on single stage red paint with either a orange or yellow 5" Lake country flat pad, Meg`s M105 works well but wipe down is a pain and it dries out fast, Menzerna heavy cut 400 worked really well finished down awesome and was a breeze to wipe off (my favorite so far), Menzerna Super heavy cut worked well for cutting the roof that was so oxidized that it took 4 pads to do it as they were just gumming up with all the removed paint but it left a little haze not bad but slightly noticeable, Optimum Hyper Compound (spray) worked well for cutting but left very noticeable haze but its so easy prime and to get a nice even amount of product on the pad (may finish better on a less aggressive pad), Wolfgang Uber Compound and Total swirl remover both worked well were easy to wipe down and both finished very nicely as expected compound cut better but finished a tiny bit less and total swirl cut a little less buy finished down near perfect .

Not quite detailing but used detailing supplies to start cleaning the tub
First go

Second go

As a machinist the junk sticks to me and then washes all off in shower and sticks to tub, so occasionally I have to use wheel cleaners on my tub to break down the rusting iron particles

My review of McKees 37 Blue hydro and Adams Guard and Gloss.
This process is over a two day period.
My truck had some swirls. Those were corrected using CG scratch and swirl b-gone with Meguiars mf cutting pads and PC7424XP. For washing I used foam gun with a mixture of Dawn and CG Body wash&wax. Did a good job of making the body squeaky clean. Saturday one layer of Blue hydro was applied. The Durango received one layer of Adams Guard and Gloss.
The plastics and rubber were treated with Meguiars all season dressing and Premo. I chose these two to see how rain affects each.
Sunday another layer was applied to each vehicle. This time I used a spray bottle of water and the product with two two mf towels.
Wheels on Durango were cleaned using Sonax wheel cleaner plus and Speed Master large and small brushes, tires dressed with Pinnacle Natural Brilliance.
McKees 37 Blue hydro bottle is black and no solution strip available to monitor level. However when Blue is sprayed, a fine mist is created which I prefer.
Adams Guard and Gloss bottle is see through. The color is gray. The nozzle has two spray options, stream or heavy mist. Neither one is to my liking.
Half of the bottle was used to give the Durango two coats. About a third used to give two coats to my truck.
Tomorrow rain is supposed to be here and I plan on getting pictures of the water beading. Have a blessed Sunday
