Mini detail.

Good foam wash
Tires got Gtechniq
Coat of stoners speed bead wax
Trim got Mothers trim restorer aerosol.
Wheels got Zymol wheel coat

:drive:

I will be honest here. The speed bead wax is too much trouble to use. It is a PITA to remove!! The results are great tho. Now the speed bead detailer is the best I have used. I will be ordering the new Mckess hydro blue spray coating for my spring detail.

Done. 2 days, well payed. I`ll compound the windshield tomorrow because it has old film. That`s an extra job though. I think it`s time to get a Rupes mini

Faced this mess

Water spots on plastic vinyl & chromed plastic grill, which
doesn`t want to come off. So I tried these

The PBs I used first on the chromed plastic, worked well.
The BF on the vinyl didn`t clean or shine, so I tried clay.
which didn`t work either..but when I wiped off the Dodo
I used for lube, I got lucky. The citrus in the Dodo softened
the water spots enough to remove them.

Dodo Born slippy 10:1, soft boars hair brush. Cleaned, slick.

Soaked the grill in

one of the only clients i have that i still do mobile for
she is a nurse and just got back from alaska for a few months and is heading to corpus to work.
she said car hadnt been washed since last July (but was in garage clean, from me, until feb then she drove to new orleans to work)
anyways
i advised it would be recommended for the full exterior detail (clay and sealant), was gonna use mckees blue sio2 stuff but she didnt want to pay for it so i used
poorboys super slick n wax
2bm
bug squash 1:3
bug sponge
lc wash wedge and micros
pb spray and rinse on wheelpb apc on tires
also went over them after rinsing off with leftover ssw wash suds to add a little shine

dried cracks and wheels etc with my sidekick, which was nice to use and easy to move around

used spray and gloss as drying aid

put mckees fast wax on trunk, roof and hood just to see it next time when I wash and hopefully its easier for me

every panel had water laying flat on it so I was happy that pb ssw rinses off so easily

took a few pics from garage

bold n bright on tires
