Groits pfm towels

Has anyone else have this problem who has used the pfm towels by groits? I like how well they work but this one caught on som trim corners and pulled. Should I cut them off so they don`t pull more or quit using all together?

I would just cut them. If you keep pulling it might make it worse. I just bought a PFM towel, but haven`t used it yet.

Same thing happened to me on my first one, I cut them off and now I just pat with them instead of gliding over the paint. The terry loops catch a lot easier than microfibers.
