Gift Registry Giveaway

i know i would love to have won something to take some things off the registries and wish list, but i guess i`m gonna have to do it the hard earned way lol
 
It would be really convenient if there was a way to send the registry by text. Any chance of that happening in the future Vega??

Couldn`t you just copy the URL of your gift registry and then shorten it using your favorite variety URL shortener and text that to anyone you want? Or do you want a way to send them all of the items in a list without having them click through to your actual list?

I think that I`m going to give the URL shortening a go though

Could do that. The one click like the email would be nice. I don`t know if that will be the same of not. I assume the email link will have your account info etc. when they click on it. I assume if the click a URL they`ll have to create an account to order. I`ll check it out.
 
Just checked into the the URL shortener & at least using the Google version, it works on a device that isn`t logged in to Autopia. They would probably have to log in or create an account to actually make a purchase, but so far I am a fan!

Going to send out the link to some family now ;)

The email version they can just go fill in quantities, click buy at the bottom, then click checkout. That way you get your bonus points, and I assume it shows up as a purchase on your account screen. This is what I would like to see in a text form. It shouldn`t be that hard for them to do.

Ah - didn`t know about the bonus points... I am new to Autopia and I haven`t looked into the point system at all yet.

I also haven`t seen an email option for the registry (maybe I`m missing it or its something to do with the mobile site). I will check on a computer shortly.

The email option is right in the gift registry box. Just start at the top of the box and work your way down, it`s fairly close to the top. Are you using the app or the regular site?
