BFWD Consistency

I was wondering if BFWD is supposed to be on the watery side as far as consistency goes. I`ve tried shaking it like crazy for 5 straight minutes and it always looks like bluish water when it comes out of the bottle. Anyone know if this normal?

It should be blue but more like soft toothpaste than water.

How old is it ?

I have had one for years and I have used it recently on a friends car. The solids end up on the bottom and you need to shake until you re mix it. More than 5 minutes for sure.

Try adding a ball bearing or a large nut to the bottle. It should aid in getting the product "re-mixed". It worked for me.

go with a stainless steal so it wont rust as this has happened to me, i then used a few small stainless bearings together and that woeked well as well

I just told Nick at AG about a week ago that I used an old bottle of BFWDAFPP that was super thin even after I shook the bottle for awhile and it still worked great. It was actually even easier to wipe off the paint than the thicker formula. Not sure if durability would be affected but it worked great for me. It should be blue and have the consistency of "nectar" on this chart. If you stick a fork in it, it should coat the fork but quickly run through the prongs.

Mine thinned out quite a bit too although after shaking the living heck out of it i continued to use it and have never noticed any degradation of performance.

Yeah my WG DGS was a super watery when I poured it out the first time and smelled funky (like some oil), I was like wtf is this, kinda shook it up for 3 min and use a bit of it as I was trying to finish a job, so now I am not sure if the solids at the bottom throws off the balance of the product... it started to smell decent after half the job..
