Heh heh, [darn] straight! I was overdue for a meal, running late, and I don`t eat cheese...sanctimonious [individual] got all high-and-mighty with me at the wrong moment in an attempt to shame me in front of everybody in the place (he wasn`t soft-spoken or even polite), so I figured he could stand being taken down a few notches in front of his employees (who obviously despised him)...needed reminded of his place on the Food Chain. I`m not shy IRL ;)

But nah, I`m not one of those PIA customers; I maintain Favored Customer status at restaurants I frequent.

I usually get the "regular" ($1) cheeseburger meal.

You get like 2 burgers, fries, & a drink for like $6.

That "Meal" sounds like an nice little appetizer...for somebody who`s OK with cheese :D I do put away the chow, I`d need quite a few of those..
 
Rohkn- Regarding the "be a man.." article, sure...I too think that was written by idiots, about idiots, for idiots. But.. 99.99% of the times that anybody told me to "be a man" about something they were being idiots too, and that 0.01% when it was valid was back when I was in short pants.

In situations where somebody would say "man up!"/"be a man!" to some guy, I`d probably hold any adult woman to the exact same standard.

My point is that IMHO - One of the greatest compliments a man could get is "He`s a good man"..........

I hope my wife doesn`t hate me, I tell her all the time she is an "Amazing Wife". By today`s new standards or thinkers or liberals or what every they Identify as that is probably an insult. I mean really what am I implying when I use the word Wife, oh man I am so confused.
 
Ronkh & trashmanssd- All sorts of words that used to be neutral or even complimentary now get used as a pejoratives these days, huh? It gets hard to stay current ;) Sorta the Liberal side of that "if all you have is a hammer, everything`s a nail".
