Car is finished with Collinite 845---UQD was my "go to" for years and I still love it.

I`m wondering if there is something else I can grab off the counter (like UQW) that works as well or better?

Black car again, finished w/ 845.

If you want a good OTC drying aid, look for Meguiar`s SHINE AS YOU DRY. About 1/2 way thru my bottle, and I find nothing wrong with it at all. Leaves a just waxed looked finish. No streaking or other issues.

If you have an auto parts store that sells Griots near you - their Spray On Wax works great for what you are looking for. My local Autozone sells it. If you have one nearby you might try them.

No sir. I`m in Canada. We barely get anything besides autoglym and megs. Not sure how the autoglym spray wax is thi

Huh, sounds like the consensus has changed on the GG Spray On Wax, last I heard it was prone to streaking. Only guy I know IRL who uses it...well, his car`s no billboard for the products he`s using.

I`ve used UQW and OCW on Collinite (845 and 476S) and both worked fine.

Duragloss Aquawax. I use it with 845 all the time. I can get just about anything Duragloss or Collinite from my nearby NAPA. If they don`t have it they`ll order it.

I believe Duragloss offers $5 shipping on their products. Maybe check into it so that you can always have a fresh bottle. We will be updating shipping info this weekend to setup low cost flat rate for small orders.

Seems like quick wax wins. But really tho, what are the differences between the quick detailer and the wax?

This is absolutely a wild guess as I don`t *really* know, but I`d ASSume that the QD has more cleaning/encapsulation stuff and the wax has more LSP stuff. So I`d expect the QD to work best with regard to preventing marring from any residual dirt and the wax to give a better and longer-lasting shine.

And some have said they got a little filling/etc. from the UQW but that didn`t happen for me on the `93 Audi (maybe its marring is just too bad to fill).

On a side note fellas- how does 845 do with bird bombs? I`ve had one on my roof for the past 24 hours lol

PA Detailer- AH, OK...glad to know that it`s working for you...maybe it`d be Accumulator-proof too :D Any reason to prefer it over OCW or Meguiar`s UQW?

So what do you like so much about the Primo? Your unqualified "Best!" got my attention! Man, there are just so many products that I`ve never heard of, let alone tried, on the market these days.

Better than some LSPs but not even close to FK1000P, at least IME. This is one of the specific big eye-openers that got me to switch.
