Great generalization, definitely have a solution I see. Another simple minded quip.

Maybe if those same people (Innocents) step up and helped changed the culture from within we wouldn`t be bombing them left and right or so pensive state side. Condemnation of a problem is NOT a solution and is in no way "doing something" about problem. When the muslim community (As a whole) unifies and actively addresses the problem, then I`ll think otherwise. Till then, practice what you preach... go over there and try and rationalize with one of them.

IMO your point about not stooping to their level is utterly valid and gets far too little serious thought. It is simply impossible for normal people to engage in certain behaviors without being changed by the experience and the abnormal people who can do it without issues shouldn`t be encouraged as they tend to develop a taste for it and otherwise, uhm...cause problems...for the rest of us. It`s all theoretical until somebody hands *you* the [tools of that trade] and *you* start the Enhanced Interrogation work, or until *you* are the subject.

IMO there are things that Humans shouldn`t do to each other. Period. I`m actually a bit of a Situational Ethicist, but there are still a few Moral Absolutes that IMO separate the Evil humans from the rest of us, and "Don`t torture people" is one of those Absolutes.

Hey, the thought occurs- Didn`t Jesus of Nazareth extol his followers to give up the "eye for an eye" in favor of "do[ing] unto others as you would have them do unto you"? Just checking as a lot of people go by his opinions on various subjects, though OTOH plenty of folks prefer to be Old Testament about certain things.

Live been of the same opinion on Trump. The big question is, who is gonna get the nomination?
 
seeing as how the Republican party would completely implode if he doesn`t get the nomination, it`s kind of a moot point. There`s little chance of defeating the Clinton and liberal machine as it is....he`s got enough hardcore followers there`s absolutely no way they could unite the party enough to back a surprise candidate

Trump played the media just like he is playing the American public. It took Trump this long to admit he was a liar and charlatan who never really believed Obama was anything but an American. Next he will deny that Obama has any Muslim ties. He is playing the "I`m a good guy" game or maybe "I`m a better guy than Clinton" game. Politics suck.

You must have heard a different speech than I did.... All I heard is that "He is American, period."

But Tejera regularly asks his audiences to compare Trump`s assertions that "I am your voice" and "I alone can solve" societal ills to the initial appeals of authoritarian rulers like Cuba`s Fidel Castro and the late Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.
"It goes well beyond immigration," Tejera said in an interview. "Many of us remember how it starts. It starts with questioning institutions. Then you destroy institutions — you being the only person in the world who can save the nation from collapse."
