LSP that hides swirls

After swearing I would never do it again - I just bought a black vehicle. 2017 GMC Terrain - with the "Nightfall" back out package no less. It`s a 3 year lease so I won`t be going crazy with it - but I do want to keep it looking decent.

Since it is my daily driver - I`m not going to go nuts polishing it - so I`m looking for an LSP that will hide minor swirls/wash imperfections etc. In the past, the best LSP I have found that did this was Megs NXT. It seemed to do a really good job of covering (hiding) minor swirl marks.

Any other LSP`s that do the same thing just as well or better? The NXT just didn`t seem to last that long for me...

Thanks!
Dan

I posted a pic of the vehicle on another post but I thought I`d throw it on here just the same...

x3 poorboys black hole and nattys black

or black hole and Fuzion Spray Wax might be a tad bit easier if you don`t want to use a paste wax

Another for PBs black hole. Collinite 845 also has hiding capabilities, and HD Speed can be applied by hand and it will hide some stuff while leaving protection in one step.

<<<< Coming from the guy who has never tried a coating. Maybe polish with CarPro`s Essence coat it and forget it. Or maybe try Polish Angel coatings. Give the coating a three year test:)

I know you said not wanting to polish, but come on, you`re on Autopia. You know you are going to polish your black GMC at some point. Why not right off the showroom floor.

Nattys Black or Blue would do well. Ron posted a thread a while back showing a couple layers of blue on a black BMW that was impressive. Kamikaze also fills some and is stupid easy to use.

Chek for a thread called
it`s a cover up

or something like that

black hole
natty`s blue or black

good to go

If you can still find it, Prima Amigo. I don`t know if I have ever used something that can fill like it does that lasts as long as it does.

I believe you can still get it direct from Prima. Works great under FK1000 and seems to not be impacting durability.

Huh, never noticed it doing anything more than the usual "all wax-style LSPs do a tiny bit of concealing".

I never did either because I`ve only used it on polished vehicles, but I did a bit of searching and found a video where it was used in dark blue paint covered in swirls and the 50/50 shot showed a very noticeable difference when it came to concealing some of the swirls.

Also, keyword in the OP`s inquiry is "minor" ,hence my mention of the 845. If it was "significant" or a similar term then I wouldn`t have brought it up.

Apologies, this reply comes out as rude to you Accumulator and that was not the intention. I do agree with your statement, what I meant was that since the term "minor" was used, and the 845 hides minor defects according to what I saw,I figured I`d mention it as a consideration. I do agree 100% that a glaze will do a LOT more filling though .

PBMG still carries Prima Amigo in their AG store, and you can still order it through Autopia by putting a note in the comments when submitting your online order or by ordering it by phone .

I`ll add Blacklight by CG to this list. Blacklight has acrylic polymers for protection, is a good cleaner (a mild AIO), and gives a nice 3D look on black. I hate to recommend CG in a thread that is leaning on my favorite brand (Poorboy`s), but I would recommend Blacklight to my best friend or mother. Having said that, it`s not "better" than Black Hole. Just different. Black Hole leaves a flat, super-clean look with excellent filling, whereas Blacklight leaves a glowing deep appearance, with slightly less filling in my experience.

If I had a black lease that stays outside, I`d use Blacklight once a month and be done with it. Wouldn`t even top it.
