Would you have this fixed? Wait??

Tell them you know they may ruin it by taking it apart, so they should just give you another one :)

you could also tell them the car has another problem !!!

it doesn`t take the best Merlin Shots :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

You can`t leave this alone. The judges will see it every time. Then again, it might solve the problem of "where do I put all these trophies?"

It sure makes me think twice about buying a GM product. I always hate that first ding on a new car, and when it is a manufacturing defect that makes it worse.

WOW! Much hate for the corvette from PeterMJ!! That is really sad on a flagship car. I would no doubt take it in and see what can be done about it!! You as the consumer have to be 100% happy with your purchase!! Please let us know how you make out on this upsetting issue.

Oh yeah I will

That looks like a cheap repaint where the additives that make the paint flexible and stick to the soft plastic were not done properly. This is going to get worse over time.

Take it back to the dealer and let them know you are highly disappointed that a new 6 figure car has these defects. First the suspension and now the paint. Get an estimate on what it cost to fix from a shop you know will do it right. Ask them to pay for it. They will most likely say, we have a guy. Tell them if your not happy you will expect it to be done right by your guy.

Its cheaper to make you happy with your shop than to pay for it 2x.

Lets all like Rons posts to get him his reputation back!

Good Luck.
