I have a Very Important Question!! FK and PB inside:

Alright guys, lately I have noticed that there is a lot of plugging for Poor Boy`s products, and I am an avid fan of Finish Kare, especially FK1000P. FK1000P has very high regards for lasting through months of harsh climates and it does look good on my car, Jade Green Metallic, I use FK1000P in tandem with Finish Kare`s foam pad glaze and FK425 QD. After nosing through the Poor Boy`s catalog, I see that they have "EX-P Sealant" that is friendly to their Natty`s Black. Whilst my car is not black, I`m sure it could benefit from a coat or two of Natty`s Black, not to mention that I`m sure their Black Hole Glaze is superior to FK`s Foam pad glaze.

So my question is, has anybody put FK1000P to the test with PB EX-P Sealant/Natty`s Black?

I am pretty sure you are going to get greater durability from FK1000P compared to a carnauba like Natty`s Black. I love all of the Natty`s waxes and use carnaubas on all of my garage queens. My daily drivers get a sealant.

If you are looking for hiding ability and durability .. then it would be Black Hole then EX-P .. the Natty`s Black would be for looks at that point and would be considered a sacrificial layer that would need to be maintained with a carnauba based QD ..like QD+ or another coat added as the oils evaporate or are removed during washings.

I put two coats of EXP on my friends white challenger after a polish with PWS and he came back 7 months later and the car was still BUTTERY smooth

he had only washed it twice in that time

it still beaded pretty respectably too

if you do EXP, that second coat after 12-24 hours is the icing on the top!

Wow, that is pretty impressive. Definitely need to get some EXP!

I`m going to give Prima Amigo a try this year under FK1000p. The Amigo uses polymer fillers so I`m guessing it will last longer and play better under the FK.

I will get you a 50/50 going of polished paint with FK1000p vs EXP only on my friends car today after work (or tomorrow on my day off for sure)

his impala is begging me for lots of tests actually

FK`s Foam Pad Glaze is more of a finishing polish than a glaze. It cleans really well.

Black Hole is a beauty glaze and it`s very different than the FK product.

That would be awesome!!! Sometimes it`s hard doing this whole no profit detailing thing, on a college kid budget. I`m building my next $150+ order, so I can get free shipping from AG. I`m going to have to rummage around and find some stuff to sell.

No profit detailing? find somebody to charge, lol

My 1st paid job was a whopping $50

Makes those orders much more affordable :)

We`ll, there are only two cars that I currently take care of, mine, and my mothers. I am home from school now, and she`s keeping a roof over my head, so I won`t charge her.

wow .. mine was 50 cents (I was 8 ) but it was a Silver Half dollar, which I still have and it must be worth a bit more now :)

I`m talking about once I started my actual business

I`m guessing I got some money here and there in High school but I don`t recall any amounts, lol

Funny. Same here. 50. When I first got into detailing. The bad part was that I spent maybe that much on products for that particular job!

NICE! Pretty cool that you still have it, too.
