Alpine White BMW M3 - Detailed by Lawrence

These are such nice cars :drool: and I really enjoyed the time spent bringing this one back to a more fitting state, as I did educating the owner on proper maintenance and seeing him get properly equipped with the right tools and products.


So, let`s create a decent platform for him to start the journey on....and as always that`s trying to work from dirty to clean, avoiding having to do things twice.


Engine bay
Clean - Blower, Carchem APC @ 1:5, no water, brushes, MF towels

Painted areas - Autofinesse Tripple by hand on a MF applicator

Great job! White is my favorite BMW color. On many other cars it looks ordinary, but the lines on a BMW just do something to white. Glad to see someone is still using wax, but surprised you didn`t advise the customer to go with a sealant before the wax to provide a little more durability. I never got Petes 53 to last very long and most people with M3s drive them hard.

Thank you. This is to be a real garage queen and will only be driven perhaps once a month. I not only educated him on how to properly maintain it after I had detailed it, but set him up with all the products too, among which is Optimum spray wax which he will apply each time he washes the car (probably only once a month after its drive), so I wasn`t too concerned about LSP durability.

33 hours seems right. You made that M3 look better than showroom new. White cars give the best before and after when it comes to dirt and grime. Your paint pictures are great before and afters too!
