What to do? Polisher questions

Well, I decided to upgrade to the Mark 2s.
Listed my 3401, 15 &21.
I`ve got the new 21 coming. (Got a deal on it)
Yesterday my 15 &21 sold.
I was actually hoping the 3401 went first. I personally think it abuses me too much to use. I really don`t want to use it at all.
So here`s my question.
My 15 was my favorite. I used the 21 for top panels and the 15 on the sides.
I do know from having the 21 it kills defects & swirls in no time.
I never setup the 21 with a smaller backing plate, but have one.
Will the 21 be ok using 6" and 7" pads as your main polisher. (I`m waiting on the 15)
I also have the mini and a Makita which i use for pad cleaning. (I haven`t found a beat up car to go to town on yet)
I prefer applying my LSP with machine too.

I`ve got all my details to do in the next few weeks and don`t want to be without if I need that 15.

I really like the 21 with the smaller backing plate. I don`t have the MK2, but worked really well with the old ones. And I hear ya on the 3401... Great machine but my body can`t handle a day of that, co pared to the Rupes.

I pretty much use my 21 Mk 1 unless I can`t. My 3401 is reserved for really curvy parts of cars. Don`t use the 15 as much as I probably should or thought I would.

Does anyone apply LSPs with the 21?
I had GG6 and 3. But sold those last year.
I only used the 21 for polishing or one steppers.
Applied LSPs with the 15.

I actually prefer to run my 21MKII with the 6" BP. If I need smaller 5" pads I`ll run my G15 but I can usually do most the car with 6" pads.

Rasky, 6" plate meaning the smaller plate the 15 uses?

No, the large stock plate that comes with the 21 MKII. Larger pads cover more area so I use them as often as I can. I have my G21 set up with a 5" plate if needed but prefer the smoothness and shorter offset of my G15 when I need to get into tighter areas.

I`m a big fan of the beveled edge polishing pads be it 5" or 6" pads.
They allow me to get into close, tight areas and along edges better.
