Ugh- ac fan went out yesterday. 83degrees all night in my house. My poor Ausssie was spilling his water bowl and laying in it.
Luckily i was able to talk ac company into fitting me in this afternoon.

Hey at least it didnt go out in july!

I feel your pain. Our AC went out last August here in Houston... Miserable doesnt begin to describe it.

Mother nature (or mankind if you believe in man made global warming, or cow farts) has our heat situation taken care of...... :D

not sure if it would be worse for the dog to take him with me today or leave him home. 90 is the high but no breeze which sucks if i leave the back door or windows open

Not at all. Id much rather have 80s than having to wear long sleeves and pants.

Id rather have a working ac in central tx for the summer

at least if youre cold you can wear more clothes i guess. I just hope they can fix this when they come later today.

Heres hoping its not the compressor, or a leak in the outside coils.

We had a pinhole leak in the outside unit which leaked all the freon out. New coils, 17# of freon, and a hefty bill later.... I was just glad to get the house below 80 at that point :)

True, but when the heat goes out in the middle of winter you have a lot more to worry about than being cold. Ours went out this past winter for a few days and thankfully we were in a "warm" spell where temps stayed around 30-40 outside or it couldve been real bad.

I can sure relate to that! For *years* our power went out for days at a time, often during the coldest part of winter. We *did* manage to get our "power outage routine" pretty well sorted out, but still....Fortunately things are much better since they did a major redo of the local facilities, seldom goes out for more than a day or so now and even thats pretty rare.
