What did you do detailing wise today?

I couldn't take the pollen anymore.
the green colored truck had to go
Mixed 4 oz of Mirror Bright into my Kwazar foamer and did a grit guard bucket with my lc wash wedge and foam block.

Went to top the about 1 month old poxy with Express and when wiping the hood i noticed pollen was already accumulating less than 10 minutes since i dried it.

Thats from the towel wipedown of half the hood

Topped the hood and pass fender and doors with poxy then went to do the roof and got so frustrated bc i saw it was dusted green already and called it a day.

The poxy is still slick but the express topped areas are super slick and very good looking.

Qd plus on the drivers side. Felt paint and qd plus on top of the poxy is much more slick than express on the poxy But express has that nice buttery wax feel

Took my first ever paint readings
Not exactly sure what this all means but will start a thread tomorrow morning to figure it out

Interesting. ..i happen to have a fresh can of tarminator...might have to give that a go

Here's a pic of the coated tire. Looks pretty decent. Guess I would prefer a higher shine, but that's just me. I did 3 coats of the coating. I know it says the more coats you do the shinier it will get, but I wouldn't think you'd get much more benefit beyond 3 coats.

Not sure this really counts as detailing related, but I was doing some spring cleaning around the house and found this sticker that I received a long time ago in one of my orders. So figured I'd put it on my boring looking bucket.

Where do I sign up to collect my cut for advertising?? :D

I washed our 2001 Sebring.

After using DP Power Wash and Wax multiple times now (now sold as McKees 57 Power Wash but maybe a new formula)), my final conclusion is that it cleans well but it is no great suds producer (many others better) nor does it leave much if anything behind in terms of renewed look.

I got out the Mothers Spray Wax and gave it the shine it needed.

I also found a sample bottle something but it was not labeled so no idea what it is. It looks like a trim or tire dressing but do not know which one. Oh well.

Interesting. I've used and still have some power wash and wax and it had a lot of suds, comparable to other soaps such as Blackfire Shampoo and Hyper Wash.

It is no slouch in terms of suds but if it is being marketed for foam guns/cannons there are much better choices to me: Optimum, Adams, 3D Pink.

Removed and deodorized some dog pee stains on the cloth back seat of my Xb ... a little more testing and we'll have some for others to test :)
