Where is Winter ???

If my utility bill (gas/electric) doesn't top $400 like it has the past 2 years I'll consider this winter a win

WOW, you guys can handle the cold I like 68-70 setting for the heat at home 64-66 in the office at work. I get angry if I have t wear more then shorts in the house.

It's not showing its face here in the shadows of the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
45°F as of 1:00PM on Wednesday, 09 December, 2015. Record high temps for tomorrow (Record is 51°F set in 1911).
Its suppose to RAIN for the football game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, with about 0.50 to 0.75 inches of rain forecast. That would normally amount to 6 to 9 inches of fluffy snow during a "normal" December. Last time we had a good Snow bowl game in December was on December 01, 1985 when the Packers played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There was about a foot (12") of snow by the end of the game. Stadium was less than half-filled: largest fan no-show in Packer game-day history. Packers won 21-0. Bucs (rookie?) quarterback Steve Young passed for 53 yards for the whole game.
What do I remember from that day? Going to work at 10:00 PM from 32 miles to the north of Green Bay from where I lived and seeing four cars on the road, two of them stuck. Did not realize the governor declared a state-of-emergency and had banned all non-emergency travel. I had a '83 Subaru GL Wagon with On-Demand four-wheel drive that I drove in the Low range and third gear of a four-speed manual transmission for the whole trip. Got stuck going into the work parking lot in a 3 foot drift. (yes, I had a shovel) One other person showed up for the night shift from our engineering department crew (CAD Drafting technicians) because he lived 5 blocks away and walked to work. Needless to say, the day crew (at least those who showed up) were surprised to see me there in the morning. That Subaru went thru ALOT of snow that night.
