2013 G37x with a 12 hour deadline for lease inspection

I've always wondered what caused those scratches. The ring and long nails make sense.

Or even fingertips and foreign debris on the paint will do that over time. The worst jewelry damage ive seen was on the center console/armrest on an S2000. The client's wife wore a watch on her right hand, 40,000 miles later the finish was toasted, no real good way to fix/repair it other than replacing the part.

Broceratops- VERY nice work, let alone for the limited time!

Currently I only own the blackfire polish combo. Would one or both of those work? Or, do you guys think i need to invest in the M105 to get this fixed? Thanks

I'd invest in some M101. M105 is faster than the stuff I used before such products came out, but still not nearly fast enough for me. But then I'm generally working on very hard clear too. A few years ago, I'd spend an *entire afternoon* fixing such stuff on an Audi.

Welcome to Autopia!

Not just rings and/or long nails, but short nails or even bare skin touching the paint will do it. If there's dirt on the paint and you touch it, chances are you'll get marring, so unless you're washing/drying/waxing/etc. just *never* touch the paint. Period. Problem solved :D

If people would just take *2 seconds* to be a little careful each time they open/close the door/trunk/hood....but no, they can't be bothered to do it right. Heh heh, OK, end of rant. [Accumulator sheepishly climbs down off his soapbox :o ]

Outstanding result on the run for a well neglected car. Looked like it was washed twice a year...maybe. I can only imagine what the inside of the glass looked like,
