Hello all...Appreciate all the quality knowledge I gain on here!

Hello to all and my name is Jeremy. I have been using this forum as my rolodex of first hand information trying to take in all the good info and opinions that are out there. I thought I was alone in my OCD world of making autos more beautiful than when they rolled off the lot, but I am proud to know I am not and that in here I will be amongst peers, friends, and allies in the war on contaminants, dust, debris, scratches, swirls, haze, and non shiny paint. All the best to all and I look forward to further exploration.

Welcome, Jeremy,
You are among a lot of ex-GI's, and we will always be here to help..
Glad you are here..
I love all Bimmers, and have been a member of their BMWCCA since the year 2000..

As a matter of fact, I received my Synergy on Saturday. Strange you mentioned that. I polished and prepped my Bimmer yesterday with SCP by BL and I applied the Diamond Surface Coating I have had laying around for a few months. The bottle sprayer gave me a terrible time as it was not spraying correctly but I made it work with the wedge applicator. I'm afraid I may have wasted more than I used. I let it cure for about 16 hours and I applied the sealant from BL and let it sit for about 2 hours and removed it. I applied the Synergy this morning and I just removed the first coat. WOW...I repeat...WOW WOW... I am excited to see how the prep work and proper application paid off. Before I even applied it, it looked phenomenal. I know this is a played out phrase, BUT.... it really did look like a sheet of shimmering glass. I have used nearly everything that can be found in the American market and even some stuff from UK and China. This stuff is looking to be a homerun. The high gloss prevents me from being too upset about the product that I lost. Things like that happen, can't let it ruin your day you just gotta drive on. Definitely glad I decided to go with the Synergy. Hats off to Ray for recommending it. A++. I am very very pleased.

If I should do something on here, that is frowned upon, please tactfully let me know. I have often used this as a reference for any questions I may have, but I am brand new to posting and replying, etc. I guess if there is a learning curve in the forum etiquette, I need to take the crash course. I did take the time to read the rules and guidance, but sometimes the "pretty obvious to some, oblivious to others," unwritten rules of forums can be complex from one forum to another. I decided to dive in head first today after seeing just how entertaining it was to chat with other like minded people with the same interests as me. This has been an AWESOME experience thus far and look forward to participating in the future. Thanks again to everyone.
