New client from out of state with a 2016 Macan Turbo. In for paint correction and CQuartz Finest application. Paint was in good shape, just your typical RIDS here and there. Wheels and calipers were coated too.

I actually like the front on it...the back not so much. The hood is massive!!!

New Alfa 4C in for a 2-step paint correction and long term coating. The owner of this car actually contacted me in May of 2014 and just recently (finally) after waiting a very long time, took delivery of his new baby. He had researched ahead of time and was prepared for the paint to be in the condition it was, and as you'll see from the before pics, it definitely needed a little love. I'd say I achieved 95% correction or better but there were few light scratches remaining here and there...overall a drastic improvement though.


Process:

Wash - Traditional Wash with Megs Hyper Wash
Wheels - Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus & various brushes.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 3:1
Paint Prep - Nanos Skin Towel and Glide as lube
Paint Correction - Groit's Fast Correct Cream on the G21 with Griot's Fast MF pads followed by Correcting Cream on yellow BOSS pads. Tight areas done with G110v2 and Flex PE14.
Pre-Coating Prep - Eraser wipe down followed by IPA wipe down
Coating - 3 coats CQF, IR Cured
Exhaust - Optimum Metal Polish









Compound burn on the door


Lots of sanding marks all over the car






Holograms too


More sanding marks


Compound residue in panel gap


Scuff/abrasion on rear bumper cover


Nasty sanding marks




Deep scatches






More sanding marks on the roof edge






BOSS doing work ;)

Thanks! Not actually "my" work-space anymore and I'm just renting it...wait until the new garage is finished in a few months though. :)

Wow what a awesome car to detail, I can't believe how long the customer waited for this car, although I heard this car is in high demand and some dealers are marking it up 20k.

Ordered. I used up a ton of my tape on a Jeep last night, and I can't wait to see the new garage.

It's pretty good stuff and the price is very reasonable. have to let me know what you think on it. :)

She's coming along, hope to start framing this weekend, but I may have a car to do. :/

oh man that is looking GOOD!!! any plans for that area behind the garage? first thing i pictured was a nice little driveway going up and into a more private garage or car port.

No additional plans for that area other than to re-sod. We have a bunch of furballs that love the open space and don't want to rob them of that. The new garage is 24'x40' with a 16'x14' service room on the back side. I'll have the compressors in there along with a washer/dryer, sink, radiant heat pluming and boiler, and a 1/2 bath. New Bendpak Sp-7X is getting flush mounted in the back stalls

yeah you're right, fur babies need their running space. Probably the only reason i haven't gotten rid of all of my grass.

New Hellcat in for paint correction and CQuartz Finest application. Wheels, calipers, and trim where coated too. Paint was in great shape overall, just some light scratching around the handles, cat emblems and a few others here and there. Very cool color!!! :)


Process:

Wash - Traditional Wash with Megs Hyper Wash
Wheels - Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus & various brushes.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 3:1
Paint Prep - Nanos Skin Towel and Glide as lube
Paint Correction - Spot correction with Groit's Fast Correct Cream on the Rupes LHR75e with Megs MF pads. Whole car polished with Correcting Cream on the G21 with orange BOSS pads.
Pre-Coating Prep - Eraser wipe down followed by IPA wipe down
Coating - 2 coats CQF, IR Cured
Exhaust - Optimum Metal Polish
