USING VC Pads.. A little help..

I purchased some VC pads from Poorboys back in June.
I was shown to slightly tilt the polisher a few degrees for better control and use that edge on bottom of the pad.
I'm new to a Rotary so don't want to get any bad habits.
Should I be laying the pad totally flat instead? It was definitely easier to control slightly tilted when shown.
From what I read the less pressure, the less pad contact..that's the VC design.

Any feedback would be a help.
I have a car I can finally try my rotary on.
I also have a purple foamed wool pad and lambs wool
.

I love em !!!!!!

But never used em with rotart, just on the 3401.

IMHO - best pads available

Which VC pads? Can you post a picture of them or link? I went on Poorboy's and saw two different ones.

I had bought the curved edge. 6.5" mixed kit.

IMHO the vc pads are incredible !!!!! Great for doing cars with lots of curves, indents etc.

Loved em for my bmw's, love em for the vette........

make sure you prime entire pad

These seem similar in theory to the curved edge ccs pads. Used one for the first time today on my new 3403... Really liked how it felt. Super smooth.
