Post some old unavailable products.
My neighbor brought this out yesterday.
I had a can of it once.

Now we'll have fun with this. Still have some of these. These were bought from Autopia before PBMG existed or in some other dimension. It was a little internet startup and you got a CD with detailing tips too! . These are about circa 1999/2000

Oh, don't start digging up that old Sonus stuff, I don't have time for this!

Ha! I know what you mean!. That said, I have a cabinet of this stuff. Need to see the Sonus colors? Need any of the old microfiber bonnets that went on the pads? Just as bad...

Oh, I have a lot of those bonnets...towels...I dunno what else. I just couldn't find any pads with the label like yours.

Great thread idea!

Though I'd kinda limit it to stuff that's at least... ?eh, what year is it?...twenty years old or so.

Seeing some of those old-timers is a real flashback, I just *knew* somebody would post a "Classic" product.

I have a ton of Sonus pads and towels in the "archives". They still work great !!!

Yeah, from Scottwax's town. I recently threw out that bottle of #5 because it was just chewing gum and solvent, and the #4 because...what would I ever use that for today? And the tar remover has like 2 drops left so that's going soon. The Blue Coral wax is all dried up and rattles around in the jar, I wonder if I ever opened that jar even to look at it? I bought that stuff around the turn of the century (not this last one) but I was saving it for a "good" car.

Setec Astronomy- Too bad about the M05, I was digging that clear cylindrical bottle :D

I can't quite bring myself to toss out my never-be-used stuff...not just yet. Almost regret the boxes of old stuff I did throw away when I consolidated shops.

I wonder about the Blue Coral- my stash of M16 will rattle around if I shake the tins, but I'm quite confident that it's still OK (a couple of Autopians are about to field-test it).

Ray, What do you want for that Opti 2.0? I have gloss coat for my wheels but would much rather have the 2.0 as it should last longer.

Are you sure it just doesn't shake around a little bit and make noise? Looks fine to me!

I've got a Turtle Wax Poly-Shell System box set still in the unopened box. My Mom purchased it in 1980 for use on my parent's Crown Victoria, but I had an opened box of it at the time that I used on the Crown Vicky, as I was using it on my own '77 black Mercury Monarch. I think she found it at Kmart for about $18.99, which was ALOT of money for a car-care product then, when a bottle of Turtle Wax could be bought for about $3.00 everywhere.

I also have a now empty 12 oz. tin of Classic Carnauba Wax I purchased in 1992 at Wal-mart in close-out for $4.00 instead of $12.00. Some of THE best carnauba wax I had used up to that time.
I was using Liquid Glass at the time on everything I owned. That was another great, but expensive, last-step product for its day.

That leads me to ask the question: what ever happened to Malm's Waxes? That stuff was advertised in Popular Mechanics and Popular Science magazines continuously. Last I saw in about 2008, the wax was priced at $130.00 for an 8 oz. tin of the specially formulated paste; out of my price range.
