When is a gallon not a gallon?

Are you saying that the container was not full, or that you measured and there was not 128 oz in the container? Because it's common for there to be a lot of air space left for thermal expansion and if the bottle gets squeezed during shipment the liquid has somewhere to go other than out of the bottle. I'm just saying that just because the container wasn't full doesn't mean there wasn't a gallon in there.

I bought three different Optimum products in gallons and two were just below 128 oz and one was only 121 oz. Since they are sealed nothing leaked out, and contents did not settle in shipment. Optimum makes great products that I will continue to buy by the gallon. I'd just like them to take care so that we actually get a full 128 oz.

On the plus side I used opti clean for the first time today and l liked it. That was the one that was only 121 oz.

I have a sealed gallon of ONR. I thought the gallon looked lite but did not measure. I have not unsealed it yet and if I can find a large enough measuring cup I will check.

I recently bought gallon sizes of ONRWW, Opti-Clean and OCW from AG and they were all the same fill level on arrival.

Why wouldn't you just email them directly rather than try to call them out in a public forum?

If I get unlucky again that's what I'll do.

I have found that opti clean works great for cleaning my bicycles. I have several carbon fiber bikes and opti clean gets them clean and is safe.

So you measured each and every one then decided to gripe here?? WOW! Really? What a waste of time and effort.

Jim, during production, every bottle is weighed to guarantee fill weight is greater than stated on the label. The gallon jugs hold 4 liters so the fill volume is not to the top of the jug.

it is always possible that a bottle was short filled but if you or anyone with product(s) issues contacts our office ((901) 363-4955), we would send replacement product(s) or credit their account right away.
