Coatings

The stuff sounds amazing. I do wonder exactly how much better it is than the consumer level stuff. I wonder if I did 2-3 coats if it'd be just as good.

If by consumer level you mean Gloss Coat, they are not the same and Gloss Coat is semi permanent unlike Opti Coat Pro. Best protection would come from OCP.

You can't use it on the dash or interior except maybe the wood grain, but I still probably wouldn't do it. I'll give a mention to the DP paint coating. It's cheap and extremely easy to apply. Works very well too.

What's your preferred method of application for the interior coating, Thomas? Unlike applying OCP to the exterior paint, I found Opti-Guard downright maddening when it came to attempting to spread it over any kind of interior surface. Even trying methods recommended by Optimum failed miserably for me. I finally decided to drop it from my offerings - not worth the headache.

I use the included blue foam applicator. With Teslas I run into that issue because those interiors are already coated with something, so I don't coat interiors in Teslas.
