Top-of the line sound system! Water proof speaker that come with Ipod
While many car and bike audio systems have variable speed-related volume adjustment that increases volume the faster you go, this variant of the system also adjusts the EQ. It pumps up the bass as your speed increases because wind noise cancels out low frequencies. So, as you go faster, the sound doesn’t become shrill. It just keeps pumping out hi-fidelity sound.

How to fix rust line in bare metal part of front fender?
Hi all Dont get me wrong, i love this cvo, i fell in love with it as soon as i ... and it seems that im not the only one with this problem with this model.

IMG_0322.JPG

the salt air will rust it up and I mean fast. this bike sat outside not even close to the ocean for only a few days while at bike fest and when It got home every part that had ever been nicked was rusted.

my client would have opted to any detailer which can complete in 2 days time....and he told me that these detailer will use some kind ofacid (degreaser to get the oxidse out) or even try Autosol Chrome and Metal Polish

I beg to differ...i has OPTIMUM METAL POLISH ...and etcs....but I am not gonna to let my ego go before me....and so i opted for polish and I had it hand polish for 3 months

I may not afford to buy a bently or rolls royce but definately I will find time to detail this CVO, it is hand built, limited production, hand painted.....gold paint!!!! it is so premium almost cost USD 100 K to buy it new here!! My buddy whom happen to own this CVO, got some issue and I took my sweet sweet time to detail this ride......ENDED UP 3 MONTHS!!! no machine is design to do Bikes.....esp chrome parts

I used alot of elbow grease , enduring many many bruises and cuts in my hands especialy countless inbetween my nails....ouchhhhhh

it has been along long detail with the long long picture

I hope you would enjoy as much as I detail (3 long months) and thread

after completing this, I actually had another 2012 Pearl white CVO in my house for another months....stay tune

wishing you "live to Ride" and enjoy biking again

nice turn around. I can detail my pick up truck faster that I can detail my Harley. very time consuming to do it right. :)

Wow! I love the level of detail you put into that Screamin Eagle! You could have just taken pictures from 5 feet away...but you tackled all of the paint and chrome up close and personal. Great job Kc's!

Nice work !!!

A lot of "fine detail" work

Thanks ROnKH for your kind words

Thanks Vega for your kind words

Indeed I was about to give up detailing, and this sweet babe came to me.....got many bruises and cuts, loss quite a bit blood too...from these cuts

not forgetting back pain.....

Great job on the Harley mate . What prouct/method did you used on the chrome mate !

Apologies mate
was busy the whole morning ....forgotten to reply your question earlier

I could have opted for aggresive cleaner, or even try Autosol Chrome and any other Metal Polish but not for this collectible Master piece
so I opted for meaguars M205 polish (cutting level of 4 )

I wouldnt want to smear or cause any abrasive , thin hair line or scuff polishing marks...initially was enjoyment ...later when my finger are all cuts and bruises....it hurts!
I would say 'slow and steady win the race' and i took over a period of 3 months

I repeated weeks and months later

it was no short cut......each part I did 3-5 passes over a period of 3 months

Thanks for your cheers along the way

Amazing work !! The turnarounds on the chrome pieces are great. Your attention to detail on this job really shows :)

Hi sprocketser
thanks again for your reply....

There are many chrome polish material out there...eg
Autosol Chrome ...............most used for alloy parts
Meguiar's : Finishing Metal Polish................
Optimum Metal Polish....

eg......on this Hummer https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1AVNG_enMY644MY644&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=hummer+by+detailien

conclusion....

as i recall and remembered the sweat for this Hummer ..........I find it amusing, why american make cars easily oxidizes/ rust and perhaps the journey out to Asia is too salty........

lastly to all metal and chrome lovers........some to share with you ....with love
