RUPES LHR75E MinI.... SUGGGESTED PADS

I currently own some LC 4" flat pads that I used a few times on my mini. They seem a bit too large for the backing plate.
Before I close a deal with Autopia , I was wondering what else fits well with it's 3" backing plate.
Other than the Rupes 4" pads. Which I'm going with if that's the preferred.
I'm tempted to order a few 3" pads but think there may not be any protection from the backing plate accidentally hitting the paint.

Any suggestions?
 
It's blasphemy but technically the FLEX 3 inch pads fit, but they don't feel too secure on the RUPES backing plate (different type of hook and loop) so I wouldn't use them. I'd stick with the RUPES pads.

I agree, don't fix what's not broken. The Rupes pads just runs and work better than others.
 
Kevin Brown will make you an exact fit to the Rupes pads Metabo backing plate. Email him or call him. I was going to get one from him about a week ago and something came up. I think it was $18 and he was going to sand it for free.

Get the Megs 3" microfiber pads. I have some and use them all the time on my Mini. I want to try the 3" Carpro flash pads on the mini. Not sure how they will do though.
 
Now that have a mini on the way you have my attention, going to start with the rupes 4" pads first see how it goes from there.

If you use the Metabo backing plate, which is all I use on my Mini, these Mirka pads are perfect! Kevin Brown set me up with these and they're great! Apparently they are made by lake country for Mirka, so they're high quality. The Metabo plate also works perfectly with Megs MF 3" discs.

Haven't had power in a few days since the big storm on Tuesday in NJ.
Pulling out the polisher powered by my Honda gen soon.
