I decided to clean my car today after getting a couple grease spots on the fenders from changing the header I recently purchased. Also there were some water spots and dust/dirt build up as well.

The product worked very well and using it was effortless. It is just spray, wipe, and done. It felt very slick and had a nice fragrance as well.

I also want to clean the pin stripes and get the old wax residue off of them from the previous owner of the car, what products have worked well for you guys?

Products used:
Pinnacle XMT Final Finish Instant Detailer
Gold Plush Jr. Microfiber Towel

Looks to me like the pinstripes have had it. I doubt much could be done to make them look better other than new ones.

I have always like the XMT line of products. On my wifes CTs I have done the XMT 360, carnauba paste, Then I alternate between the new detailer and spray wax after wash.

Yeah, I'm on the fence about them. They're either shot like you say because they've shrunk so much they've exposed the old adhesive or they are fine and really do have a huge buildup of wax on them. Hard to say in the pics.

Griots Paint Prep should pull that wax buildup, but you'll have to wax the car after.
