Holy Blackfire Wet Diamond!!!

Remember.....

It's the prep that MAKES the shine.

A good detailer could use turtle wax and make it look like $1500 detail, and a bad one could make the best stuff look like crap

AGREED!

So, in your opinion, what would your BLACKFIRE product regimen be...?

Yup, that is exactly what I am looking at...

I meant more for the clay, polish, etc...

So...

Wash with Blackfire car wash
Clay with Blackfire clay +
Wash again
Use Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish
Then Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection
Then either Blackfire Black Ice OR Pinnacle Sovereign
Then Blackfire Detailer spray...

?

Save the Blackfire car wash for after the detail. You can use a cheaper car wash soap before rather than an expensive wash with polymer boosters in it (since your goal is to remove all of that anyway). I've found newer lincoln paint to be fairly hard. If this is the first time polishing, you might want to at least try Megs M205. GEP will only fill the swirls and clean the paint...no actual correction.

For a newer car, I would recommend Pinnacle Ultra Poly clay. Or you might try a clay alternative like the Nanoskin fine grade (towel, mitt, foam block...whatever you prefer)

If you like a glassy gloss, I would go with BF Crystal Seal on top of WD (see my picture to the left). Wait 12 hours after WD then 2 coats of CS 1-2 hours apart.

To keep up the wet diamond polymers I use BF Midnight Sun Instant Detailer as a drying aide after a 2BM wash. After a rinseless wash, I like to finish with BF Polymer Spray.

Hey thanks!

I am looking for more of a deep, dark, wet-looking gloss...

Probably the best for achieving that look would be BFWD topped with BF Midnight Sun Paste Wax. However, the MS won't have the longevity of Blackice. A work-around for more longevity would be BFWD + BFCS + BFMSPW. The MS will take away some of the glassy shine of the CS and add depth and shimmer. You might need to add MS every month or so. You might give it a try before you drop your left nut on some Blackice. :)

Unless your dropping a coating on, your not going to surpass a sealant lsp combo. All this is assuming your car is properly finished down.

Bfwd + any good lsp < cq UK < modesta bc05

Also no need to wash again after clay before polishing. You'll be happy with Blackfire combo you are thinking about no doubt.

I have a tuxedo black car. For looks with moderate durability, BF sealant topped with BFMS is my favorite look. It makes the metal flakes appear as if they are floating in the black paint. It also has a shimmer to the look to distinguish it as well. After wash, I prefer the BF poly spray.
