Has anyone used both yet to give their opinion on what they prefer or differences?

I have half a bottle of PWS left so wanted to put an order in soon.

Did you try PWS on really soft paint? I could not get PWS to finish optically pure on one of the three cars I tried it on.

Every car I did turned out really well.
A bunch of Fords. A few Toyotas.
A Lexus I did looked awesome but it didn't remove water spots. I'll try to remove them this time around. Might have to do a more aggressive polish first.
I'm not too experienced in determining whether the paint is soft or hard. I used the white LC flat if I felt it needed a little extra. I didn't want to use an orange pad since I wasn't correcting much.

You may want to try a dedicated Water Spot Remover like 3D Eraser that removes them chemically instead of a polish that does it mechanically.
