So how can anyone seriously consider this person as a candidate for the presidency of the United States???

Nothing selective about this for me. It is also not a partisan issue. Both of these examples outrage me. One is no more wrong than the other. We should all be outraged that this kind of stuff is allowed to take place and those that do it should be held accountable to the highest letter of the law. That said, Dick Cheney is not currently planning a presidential run. Americans have very short memories. This is one of those situations that should neither be swept under the rug nor forgotten.

Forget the second chance garbage. We are not stupid, by this time we all know what the definition of what "is" is. Hillary has made a career out of half truths and selective "I don't recall's". As a child I and I'm sure many other members were taught that telling half truths or witholding the complete truth is the same as lying outright. People of good conscense know this instinctively. It's time the Dick Cheney's and the Hillary Clinton's of the world are held accountable for their actions but certainly at the very least not allowed to continue to get ahead because of their dishonest maneuvers. As my grandfather has said, "enough of this walking through the corral stepping in cow poop (yeah, he didn't say poop) and coming out the gate smelling like roses".

While IMHO no emails should be deleted......... The simple fact is that she stood up and publically berated them for being deleted, then she goes and does the same thing ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?


And since Cheney is a "has been" it really makes little difference in the future of this country. The fact that Hilary is a front runner for potus position. it makes a TON of difference at least in my opinion. Of course your mileage may vary and as long as it seems you are accustomed to being lied to by your representatives..................

If the Senate was really interested in honest investigation and a real justified response, do you think they'd have handed this investigation to the Benghazi Committee? There is no reason to believe anything important was in those emails, at least not anything of national public importance. The emails that went missing with Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, etc. had to do with the lies they used to get us into Iraq.

It's amazing to me that after 8 years of Bush, the lies, the wars, the debt, losing 800K jobs the last month Bush was President, followed by obstruction and filibuster people spend so much time going after Obama for things that aren't even real problems. He's not a Kenyan, Muslim, socialist, etc.

I'm sure there are people reading this post who think the deal with Iran is just terrible, because, as John McCain says, it's going to make it much more difficult to bomb them, but none of those people are going to enlist and put their own skin in the game. In case it matters, I spent from 1970 till 1976 on active duty, I enlisted for 6 years active duty up front and had a deferment from the draft in my pocket at the time.

The real problem is that there are not any good candidates from either side for 2016.

Hillary brings her issues but then Cruz and the rest of the wingnuts are not an improvement. The sad part it actually represents how polar this country has become and you see it in threads like this. When we see some negative comments about republications by conservatives, I will believe things are "fair and balanced".
 
This country is incapable of electing anybody who isn't a liar, profiteer, greedy or corrupt. With only two political parties, who take their orders from their corporate masters...and not the people, its all a senseless debate. It matters not who is elected. Until we take money out of politics, and have several legitimate parties from which to choose...we are pretty much having to look after ourselves because nobody in Washington represents the people who misguidedly sent them there.

Noting that as a rule I simply DON'T POST on Political Threads.....I think the above about *every* candidate for President. Have for quite some time now. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
